Sick of attracting a lot of drama into your life? Here are four ways that will help you ensure you lead a DRAME FREE life!
1) Change the way you think!
Try looking at things differently. When something is really bothering you, try telling yourself that it is not as big of a deal that you are making it out to be. Accept the situation and let it go. Don’t forget to look around you, there is a lot to be grateful for.
2) Don’t get ‘sucked in’ to drama, in someone else’s life.
You can always be there for your friends and family, but do not let their energy suck you in. Understand that you are a third party trying to help the situation however, do not make this your problem. This can cause anxiety and become added stress. Be a good listener and provide perspective.
3) Know when YOU are attracting Drama.
Recognise when you are attracting this element into your life. It is well known that drama stems from having a reaction to some else’s action. Understand that life is hard and you are not going to get what you want , when you want it, from everyone. Step away from the situation and be pragmatic. Do not react for the sake of it. It will STILL NOT get you what you want.
4)BE Honest with people
If you want to have no drama in your life, stop caring how others may perceive you. Care about your mental peace. Be honest and ‘straight up’ with people. If you matter to them they will respect that about you and be pleased. Do not cause yourself drama by ‘beating around the bush’ because you do not know how someone else may handle your opinion and words. Lastly, if there is anything that is causing you to over analyse the topic and figure out how to behave, then your answer is probably to do nothing. Walk away from it. It needs to breathe. At least for the time being.
