#LettinGo- 5 ways to LET GO of the people that let you down!

When someone breaks your trust it can be truly devastating. Whether a boyfriend or a friend, realizing someone isn’t who you thought they were can be difficult to fathom. Here is a list of 5 things you can do in order to let go, peacefully.

It’s not YOUR fault: Internalizing someone else’s mistakes won’t get you anywhere. Remember, they let you down. Whatever their reason maybe, THIS IS NOT YOUR FAULT.

Do NOT fight fire with fire– There is absolutely no reason to retaliate. Retaliating just shows someone that their actions destroyed you so much that you had to drop to their level. Understand that they are on their own path and will learn their lessons in time. Be MATURE.

You have OTHER wonderful people in your life– Turn to your friends you haven’t let you down. Sometimes realizing that you trusted the wrong person helps you realize who the ‘real’ people in your life are.

Do not hold on to hatred– Holding on to hatred will only bring you negative energy. Try to find peace within yourself and be thankful that you learnt how this person truly is before you trusted them more.

Value YOURSELF– Value yourself and your time. You do not have time to waste on such people. You are a wonderful human being and deserve good people in your life. Let go of anything that is on your path that doesn’t bring you happiness. At the end of the day, life is to short.
